Ingersoll Rand has been operating in the Czech Republic since 1997 when it bought the Frigera manufacturing plant in Kolín and the Research Institute of Refrigeration Technology in Prague from the US Company Thermo King, which joined the Czech market in 1992.
Ingersoll Rand has a production plant in Ovčáry near Kolín city, the Trane Sales and Service center in Prague, and the Engineering and Technology Center in Hostivice near Prague. More than 450 employees work together in the Czech Republic.
